Inp.polri.go.id - New York.  Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Arrmanatha Nasir reaffirmed Indonesia’s strong support for Palestine during a series of bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the High-Level Conference on the Implementation of the Two-State Solution at the United Nations on Wednesday .

"President Prabowo has expressed Indonesia’s readiness to deploy peacekeeping forces under a UN mandate as part of our commitment to lasting peace in Palestine," he told Palestinian Foreign Minister Varsen Aghabekian, as reported by antaranews.com on Thursday (31/7/2025)..

The Deputy Foreign Minister also met with EU Special Envoy for the Middle East Christophe Bigot, highlighting the need to uphold international law consistently and reject double standards. 

Indonesia and the EU agreed that a ceasefire in Gaza must be the immediate priority to ensure humanitarian aid access.

He further urged increased global support for UNRWA and welcomed recognition plans by the UK and France as momentum for broader European support of the Two-State Solution.
