inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Police have arrested suspect FAF who has abused his own wife M (32) in the domestic abuse case reported to Bekasi City Sub-regional Metro Police.

“Last night we arrested the suspect, and this afternoon we have him secured,” said the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Bekasi City Sub-regional Metro Police, Police Assistant Superintendent Audy Joize Oroh on Tuesday (8/27/2024).

He explains that FAF was arrested by the police following his examination as witness on Monday (8/26/2024). During his examination, he was accompanied by his lawyer.

For his crimes, FAF is charged with Article 44 and/or Article 45 of Law Number 23 of 2004 concerning the Elimination of Domestic Violence with a maximum prison sentence of 10 years and a criminal fine of IDR 30 million.

FAF also sanctioned by the Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) as he was an employee of the institution.
