inp.polri.go.id - Kendari. The Southeast Sulawesi Regional Police Chief Inspector General Dwi Irianto visits the Provincial General Election Commission (KPU) and Kendari City KPU on Tuesday (8/27/2024).

The visit goal is to monitor the preparation KPU for the election candidate registration while also overseeing the security around the buildings.

“We want to see directly the preparation of KPU during the registration of the election candidates while also making sure the police members securing the KPU buildings are doing their job well,” said Dwi.

Dwi says that the Southeast Sulawesi Regional Police has deployed 200 police personnel to secure the Southeast Sulawesi KPU and Kendari City KPU.

Furthermore, he implores all election candidate supporters to maintain a conducive and security situation during election.

Meanwhile, the Head of Southeast Sulawesi KPU Asril says that his party is ready to serve the election candidates to register.

"We have made various preparations, including preparing the necessary facilities and infrastructure," he said.
