Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. During the Holy Month of Ramadan in Jayapura City, the Sub-regional City Police of Jayapura City and ranks vow to maintain public security and safety. The statement was conveyed by Head of Jayapura City Sub-regional Police, Senior Superintendent Victon Mackbon to the media in South Jayapura District. The police chief says he and his party have instructed members to ensure the situation during the Ramadan Holy Month in Jayapura City is safe and secured. “The Indonesian National Police will also hold a police operation with the codename of Ketupat Ops, which is held through Indonesia simultaneously a week before Eid Al-Fitr. Before that, we will continue to maintain the conductivity and security situation for those who are focusing on fasting and praying in Jayapura City,” said Senior Superintendent Victor Mackbon. Furthermore, he also expressed his gratitude for the people of Jayapura City for smooth election plenary meeting. Meanwhile, regarding the flow of traffic ahead the holiday season, Victor says that they will establish a joint integrated post as usual, which will be coordinated by Jayapura Port officials. “For the establishment of a Security Post ahead of Eid Al-Fitr in Jayapura City, we will first assess the situation accordingly.
