East Java Regional Police distributed sacrificial meat door to door for community affected by the Implementation of Emergency PPKM (Community Activity Restrictions). The distribution of the Qurban meat was carried out right on the celebration of Eid al-Adha, Tuesday (07/20/21) which was also attended by all Resort Police of East Java Regional Police. This activity was led directly by Chief of East Java Regional Police, Police Inspector General Nico Afinta Karo-Karo, accompanied by Deputy Chief of East Java Regional Police, Police Brigadier General Slamet Hadi Supraptoyo and High Rank Officers of East Java Regional Police. On the occasion, Chief of East Java Regional Police said the distribution of Qurban this time was carried out door to door, in contrast to previous years, which was done by distributing coupons. In total, 38 calf and 12 lamb were slaughtered through the Slaughterhouse (RPH). "Based on circular letter of Minister of Religion and circular letter of East Java Governor regarding the implementation of takbir and Eid prayer, the slaughter of Qurban animal is carried out at the RPH or those that have been determined," Chief of East Java Regional Police explained. Chief of East Java Regional Police continued, Qurban meat would be distributed to people in need, especially people affected by Emergency PPKM. This activty was carried out by East Java Regional Police while still complying with the 5M protocols (wearing mask, physical distancing, washing hands, reducing mobility, avoiding crowds). In addition, people who received Qurban, also implemented strict health protocols. The door-to-door distribution of Qurban meat was carried out by Bhabinkamtibmas (community police officer) using 2 wheels vehicle. In addition, it was assisted by traffic officers, both from Regional Police. It also carried out Resort Police and Sector Police level.
