Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Metro Jaya Food task Force, along with National Food Agency Arief Prasetyo Adi, and Bulog representatives reviews the rice stock in Cipinang Main Market Warehouse. The Head of Sub-directorate Trade and Insurance Industry of Special Criminal Investigation Directorate, Superintendent Victor Inkirawang says that based on their inspection at the warehouse, the distribution of the rice is still going accordingly. “As of now, we have not found any hoarding related to the rice distribution,” he said in the warehouse on Wednesday (2/28/2024). According to him, the food task force indeed are focusing on monitoring, securing, and ensuring safe distribution of food supply, especially rice whose price is rising as of late. He ensures that their monitoring is applied from the upstream to downstream. “We are obviously coordinating with related stakeholders, which on this case is Bapanas, Bulog, and our colleagues from the association, in ensuring and securing this supply to be received by the public accordingly,” explain Arief.
