Former INP Deputy Chief Ahmad Dofiri Appointed as Presidential Adviser for Police Reform

Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  President Prabowo Subianto has appointed former Deputy Chief of the Indonesian National Police (INP) Commissioner General (ret) Ahmad Dofiri as Special Presidential Adviser on Public Security and Police Reform. 

The decision was announced during a cabinet reshuffle ceremony at the State Palace in Jakarta on Wednesday (17/9/2025). 

Dofiri, 58, retired in June this year. 

He is a 1989 graduate of the Indonesian Police Academy, where he earned the prestigious Adhi Makayasa award. His career includes key posts such as Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit at the West Java Regional Police, Chief of Banten Regional Police, Chief of Yogyakarta Regional Police, Chief of West Java Regional Police, and the INP Chief of the Intelligence and Security Agency.
