Inp.polri.go.id - Serang. Two young girls from Kragilan Subdistrict, Serang Regency, Banten, were kidnapped after meeting a stranger they had connected with through an online game.

Serang Sub-regional Police Chief Superintendent Condro Sasongko said on Monday (24/3/2025) that the suspect, SH (20), had been communicating with the victim, identified by IT (12)  for two weeks via Free Fire, an online game. Eventually, the suspect persuaded her to meet in person.

“They met through the game and communicated intensively. The suspect invited the victim to meet, but she insisted on bringing her cousin,” he explained, as quoted by antaranews.com, referring to victim DM (10).

Police rescued the victims from a rented house in Sunter, North Jakarta, and arrested SH. The suspect had picked them up in an Avanza on Sunday morning.

Suspect SH faces charges under Law No. 17/2016 on  Child Protection) and the Criminal Code, including kidnapping and molestation
