inp.polri.go.id - East Flores. BNPB (National Disaster Management Agency), together with the East Flores Regional Government, carried out the socialization of the relocation plan for victims affected by the eruption of Mount Lewotobi Laki-laki. This activity was led directly by the Deputy for Rehabilitation and Reconstruction of BNPB, Jarwansyah.
On this occasion, he went around the evacuation post to meet with the Village Heads to provide an explanation regarding the relocation plan for affected residents and to gather input from village leaders regarding the relocation of residences and recommendations for new settlement locations.
According to the recommendation of the Center for Volcanology and Geological Disaster Mitigation (PVMBG), the safe zone of Mount Lewotobi Laki-laki is six kilometers from the peak. Based on this, there are six villages recommended for relocation, including Klatanlo Village, Hokeng Jaya Village, Boru Village, Nawakote Village in Wulanggitang District, Nobo Village in Ile Boleng District, and Dulipali Village in Ile Bura District. These six villages are between 4-5 kilometers from the Lewotobi Laki-laki crater.
Data from the Population and Civil Registration Service (Dukcapil) of East Flores Regency recorded a total of 2,209 Heads of Families (KK) from six villages who will be relocated.
"We ask the Village Heads to help distribute this relocation willingness statement form to their village residents, especially to residents who are currently taking refuge independently outside the evacuation posts," he said on Sunday (11/17/2024).
Furthermore, he also explained to residents about the relocation schemes that can be chosen. The first option is centralized relocation where land and houses are prepared by the government. The second option is independent relocation where residents are built houses by the government on their land.
The type of house to be built is an earthquake-resistant RISHA type 36 house with a land area of 90 square meters per house.
In addition to the villages recommended for relocation, there are villages with a list of damaged houses of affected villagers who are not relocated. The three villages are Pululera Village, Borukedang Village, and Boru Village.
