inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Mobile Brigade Unit revitalized the empty land in East Karawang, West Java, for the food security program of Asta Cita. The Food Crops Directorate General of Agriculture Ministry has provided 75 kilograms of corn seeds for the effort.

“Mobile Brigade unit also invited the farmer groups fostered by Regiment IV to collaborate. A total of 10 farmers were invited to this activity," said the Commander of the INP Mobile Brigade Corps Pioneer Troops, Brigadier General Waris Agono on Saturday (11/16/2024).

Waris also stated that prior to the activity, the unit had consulted with a team from the Agriculture Ministry and Karawang Agriculture Department. The teams also surveyed several locations for the land eligibility sample test.

The land prepared by the corps is a borrowed land for the construction of Mobile Brigade Corps facilities from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (LHK), based on the Decree of the Minister of LHK no. SK.462/Menlhk/Setjen/PLA.O/12/2020.

"Now the land preparation progress has reached 60 percent. In addition, the Commander of the Pioneer Troops has also prepared four hand tractor water pumps as part of the collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture," concluded Waris Agono.
