Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Minister of Trade Zulkifli Hasan announced on Wednesday (14/8/2024)  that Commissioner General Ahmad Luthfi, former Central Java Regional Police Chief, will be appointed as the Inspector General of the Ministry of Trade.

"He will be inaugurated as the Inspector General today," he said, as quoted by antaranews.com. 

The announcement follows his meeting with the Chairman of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI),  and youngest son of President Joko Widodo, Kaesang Pangarep.

General Luthfi, who has served as the Central Java Police Chief for about four years, is transitioning to his new role as Inspector General of the Ministry of Trade.
