inp.polri.go.id - Kendari. The Kendari Class I Immigration Office (TPI) held a socialization session on the use of the Single Submission (SSm) for Transporters to promote efficiency and transparency in immigration services.
The Head of the Kendari Class I Immigration Office, Muhammad Novrian Jaya, explained that the SSm for Transporters will be the backbone of the transport clearance system at Immigration Checkpoints (TPI).
"This application will greatly assist stakeholders, from shipping agents to relevant agencies. With an integrated electronic system, the clearance process will be faster, more accurate, and with minimal obstacles," he said, as reported by Antaranews, Thursday (July 31, 2025).
He also emphasized the importance of comprehensive understanding by all system users, as the SSm for Transporters will be implemented nationwide.
"This is part of the acceleration of the priority programs of the Minister of Immigration and Correctional Affairs, Agus Andrianto, specifically strengthening digital-based immigration services and immigration inspections at Immigration Checkpoints (TPI)," he said.
Novrian Jaya stated that with the full implementation of the Transporter SSm, it is hoped that immigration processes at the Kendari TPI and throughout Indonesia will become more modern, integrated, and globally competitive.
"Digitalization is not an option, but a necessity. And the Transporter SSm is a concrete step towards world-class immigration services," he explained.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Immigration Traffic Section of the Kendari Immigration Office, Abdul Aziz Tri Priyambodo, explained that the Transporter SSm is part of the Indonesia National Single Window (INSW) system, managed by the National Single Window Institution (LNSW) under the Ministry of Finance.
He explained that the Transporter SSm is a digital module within the INSW system that allows transportation service providers, such as shipping and aviation, to submit manifest data electronically.
This system integrates data from various ministries and institutions, including Immigration, Customs, Quarantine, and the Ministry of Transportation.
