Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has firmly denied reports from Israeli media claiming that President Prabowo Subianto plans to visit Israel after his official trip to Egypt.

“That is not true,” Foreign Ministry spokesperson Yvonne Mewengkang said in a text message to reporters on Monday (13/10/2025), dismissing the claim as baseless.

She confirmed that President Prabowo’s official itinerary includes only his participation in the event at Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, and that he will return to Indonesia immediately after completing his engagements there. 

“As scheduled, the President will head back to Indonesia once the program in Egypt concludes,” she added, as quoted by antaranews.com.

The denial followed Israeli media reports earlier Monday alleging that Prabowo would make a surprise visit to Israel following his appearance in Egypt. During his recent speech at the United Nations General Assembly, President Prabowo reiterated Indonesia’s support for a two-state solution and global solidarity for Palestinian independence.
