Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesia remained firmly in second place in the SEA Games 2025 medal standings on Monday (15/12/2025), driven by strong performances across multiple sports that lifted its tally to 43 gold, 56 silver, and 53 bronze medals in Thailand.
The achievement was achieved in Bangkok and surrounding venues, where Indonesian athletes collected 12 gold medals on Sunday alone. Badminton contributed two golds through men’s singles champion Alwi Farhan and the men’s doubles pair Sabar Karyaman Gutama and Moh Reza Pahlevi Isfahani.
Additional gold medals came from wushu, athletics, cycling road race, shooting, and marathon events.
Indonesia now trails host Thailand, which leads the standings, while Vietnam remains in third place. Host nation Thailand continues to lead the table with 132 gold, 78 silver, and 47 bronze medals, totaling 257. Vietnam follows Indonesia in third place with 34 gold, 35 silver, and 66 bronze medals, or 135 overall.
