Inp.polri.go.id - West Manggarai. During the 17th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Transnational Crime (AMMTC), Indonesia brought forth a series of crucial issues. Approval of these proposals would mark a significant stride towards tackling transnational crime, stated the Head of the International Relations Division of the Indonesian National Police (INP) Inspector General Krishna Murti on Sunday (20/8/23).
"During the event, we discussed many issues topics that revolve around intensifying cooperation and fortifying coordination to effectively combat transnational crime," he said.
He added that the Labuan Bajo Declaration gains its intrigue from its focus on domestic criminal acts that extend beyond national borders, such as murder, where the suspects flee abroad.
He further underscored that the Labuan Bajo Declaration is set to engrave a historic milestone. The significance amplifies considering Labuan Bajo's current status as a revered premier tourist destination, now serving as the distinguished host of this unparalleled event.
