inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has appealed to Indonesian citizens currently in the Middle East to remain vigilant and monitor the security situation following the escalation of the conflict between Iran, Israel and the United States.
Director of Protection of Indonesian Citizens at the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Judha Nugraha encouraged Indonesian citizens to follow the directions of local authorities, avoid unnecessary travel and "avoid locations where state assets are in conflict".
"The Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and all Indonesian Representatives in the Middle East also continue to closely monitor the escalation of the conflict between Israel, the US, and Iran," said Director Judha in his statement on Tuesday (6/24/2025).
He reminded Indonesian citizens living in the Middle East to report themselves online at peduliwni.kemlu.go.id and ensure that they have provided the latest data regarding their status.
Furthermore, for Indonesian citizens who intend to travel through Middle Eastern airspace to anticipate possible flight delays and disruptions due to airspace closures.
He encouraged Indonesian citizens to immediately contact the nearest Indonesian Representative or access the emergency button on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Safe Travel application if they are faced with an emergency situation in the Middle East.
The Directorate of Indonesian Citizen Protection's telephone line at WhatsApp number +62 812-9007-0027 is also always available for Indonesian citizens who need assistance, he said.
