Indonesian National Police will ensure to banned any activities that could crowds during Eidnight on Wednesday (12 May 2021).   Head of the division of General Information, Indonesian National Police Directorate of Public Affairs and Press, Police Grand Commissioner Ahmad Ramadhan said they would oversee any activities or mobility during Eid Night.   “There would be any security during Eid Night. There would be no police to secure Eid Night. Police will only ensure no crowds during Eid night,” as explained by the head of the division of general information, Wednesday (12 May 2021). He also mentioned that people should not conduct any convoy, roving Takbir, or torch parade that could lead to crowds. He advised people to stay at home to prevent the spread of Covid-19 during Eid night. “Indonesian National Police advises people to have personal awareness not to make any crowds. It will protect us from the COVID-19,” he mentioned.
