Indonesian National Police Sent Back Around 400 Thousands of Upcoming Eid Homecomer on the Second Day of Eid.

Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Police have sent back around 400 thousands of Eid travellers on the second day of Eid. Since the ban on 2021, Eid Homecoming is still ongoing today, the second day after Eid. The ban 2021 Eid Homecoming started 6 May until 17 May 2021. Moreover, on the second day of Eid (14 May 2021), joint officers are still sanctioning the vehicle for travellers at the insulation post. Chief of Operation, Corps of Traffic Management; Police Grand Commissioner Rudy Antariksawan explained that 400 thousand vehicles had been sending back today. "As of this morning, 400 thousand vehicles have been sent back," he explained on Friday (14 May 2021). He said that the vehicle was asked to make a turn back as it passed number 381 of insulation post points in Indonesia. He also said that the vehicle's turn back policy would last until 17 May 2021. "The Ketupat Operation will end on 17 May 2021," he said. Even from the latest information obtained, the vehicle turns back sanction will still be continued after 17 May. The sanction of sending back vehicles for travellers' vehicles will last until 24 May 2021.
