Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. ASEAN-Indo-Pacific Forum (AIPF) provide opportunities for State-owned Enterprises under the ministry to expand cooperation with partners outside Southeast Asia.
The business exhibition held by State-owned Enterprises Ministry was attended by MIND ID, Pertamina, PLN, Mandiri Bank, BNI Bank, Telkom, InJourney, and Telkomsel.
State-owned Enterprises Minister Erick Thohir stressed that Indonesia is part of the solution in solving Southeast Asia Issue.
“We are inspired by ASEAN vision and the leadership of Joko Widodo in building ASEAN as the center of growth while also maintaining peace, security, stability, and prosperity in Indo-Pacific,” said Erick when giving his opening speech of AIPF 2023 in Mulia Hotel, Jakarta, Tuesday (9/5/2023).
AIPF claimed to be a chance in seeking chances while also building a more connected, prosper, and developed ASEAN-Indo-Pacific. ASEAN view on Indo-Pacific have strengthened regional cooperation and pushing continuous and innovative development, says Erick.
“In facing more complex global challenges, Indonesia through its state-owned enterprises actively collaborates with global partners in overcoming various sector by forming strategic alliance in building supply chain ecosystem, cooperating in expanding connectivity and digitalization of all region, and participating in regional infrastructure development,” Erick adds.
It is worth noting that AIPF focused on three sub-themes namely green infrastructure, strong chain supply, innovative continuous payment, inclusive digital transformation, and creative economy.
