INP Chief Awards Papua Regional Police Personnel For Tackling KKB Threats in 2023

Inp.polri.go.id - The Indonesian National Police (INP) awards their outstanding personnel in Papua for their achievement in tackling the Armed Criminal Group threats in the province. At the Bintang Mountains Sub-regional Police, on Tuesday May 7th, the INP Chief Ops Assistant, Inspector General Verdianto I. Bitticaca led the award ceremony.

In the ceremony, INP awards ten personnel of BintangMountains Sub-regional Police and one Papua Regional Police. The Vice Head of Bintang Mountains Sub-regional Police, Police Assistant Superintendent Micha Toding Potty is awarded with a scholarship for Indonesian National Police Staff and Leadership School (Sespim Polri), while the Head Ops, Police Assistant Superintendent Menase Sayori, Head Unit of Security Intelligence, First Police Inspector Sutokit, and Head of Criminal Investigation Unit, First Police Inspector Jarwo Sasmito were awarded with INP Gold Pins.

Furthermore, Senior Police Brigadier Randi CH. Korwa, Senior Police Brigadier Natalius Kalep Paisei were also given scholarship for Sespim Polri for 2025, while Brigadier Arman R. Limbong, First Police Brigadier Melkias Petrus Sada Tapu, Second Police Brigadier Hajai Pulalo, Second Police Brigadier Hamow Yoshua Yapsenang, and Second Police Brigadier Riyan Capri are each given promotion one level higher than their previous rank.

Verdianto hopes that the awards given by the institution could boost the motivation and spirit in giving their best performance.

“For those who have not yet received the awards, you still should be proud as one of your colleagues got the awards. Make this moment your fire, your fuel to be more diligent and give your best in work,” said Verdianto.

Furthermore, the Two-Star General also stated that securing Papua, particularly in Bintang Mountains, could help make the province to be more sage, advanced, and equal to other provinces.

He also instilled the fire for police and military members who are carrying out their duty in Bintang Mountain Regency.
