Inp.polri.go.id - Bandar Lampung. Indonesian National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo planned to establish 400 Nutrition Service Units kitchens(SPPG) by the end of 2025 to support President Prabowo Subianto’s Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program.
"Initially, our 2025 target was 100 SPPGs, but after Bhayangkara Day the number hit 139, and we raised it to 200. Just three weeks later, we already reached 359 units," he said during his visit to the Lampung Police Headquarters on Monday (28/7/3035), as quoted by antaranews.com..
Of the 359 SPPG kitchens nationwide, 23 are operational, 32 are in preparation, 140 under construction, and 164 at the groundbreaking stage. In Lampung alone, 20 SPPG kitchens are expected to serve over 52,000 people and create 940 jobs. Nationally, the kitchens are projected to benefit over 1.2 million people and generate nearly 18,000 jobs.
During his visit, Chief Sigit also launched 20 SPPG kitchens, inaugurated the new Lampung Police headquarters and oversaw community health and social services.
