Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) delivered humanitarian aid to victims of flash floods and landslides in Mauponggo, Nagekeo District, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), on Tuesday (16/9/2025).
Inspector General Edy Murbowo, the INP’s Community Guidance Corps Chief, confirmed the aid package included 139 cartons of ready-to-eat chicken teriyaki meals, 139 cartons of chicken curry meals, 150 blankets, 100 mattresses, 50 hanging lamps, and 10 generator units.
To restore lighting in areas cut off from electricity, Polri also distributed solar lamps and five 10 KVA generators equipped with cables and fuel.
“The gensets can be used immediately while waiting for PLN to restore the power grid,” Chief Edy explained, as quoted by antaranews.com.
He emphasized that the mission was a direct mandate from INP Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo to ease the burden of affected residents.
“The INP will continue to stand with the community, not only by providing logistical aid but also resources for post-disaster recovery,” Chief Edy said..
