Deputy Chief of the Indonesian National Police (INP) Commissioner General Dedi Prasetyo handed over medical assistance and free health services to 200 online motorcycle taxi drivers in Lampung on Wednesday (3/12/2025) during an assembly at the Lampung Regional Police Headquarters.
“This health service reflects the INP’s commitment to not only maintain security but also support the well-being of our partners on the road,” said Lampung Police Head of Public Relations Senior Superintendent Yuni Iswandari, as cited by antaranews.com.
She explained that the activity aims to improve community welfare while strengthening cooperation with online motorcycle taxi drivers.
Chief Dedi, accompanied by Lampung Police Chief Inspector General Helfi Assegaf and other senior officials, inspected all health service stations and held an interactive dialogue to hear drivers’ concerns directly. The medical aid distributed included wheelchairs, mobility aids, prosthetic limbs, and free check-ups intended to support drivers’ daily activities.
