Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Minister of Immigration and Corrections Agus Andrianto has removed the head of Enemawira Prison in North Sulawesi, identified as CS, after allegations surfaced that he forced Muslim inmates to eat dog meat during a celebration. 

The minister confirmed the immediate dismissal after the case came to light four days earlier.

“We removed him from his position. The process began as soon as we received the information,” Minister Agus said in Jakarta on Wednesday (3/12/2025), adding that an internal ethics hearing is underway.

The Directorate General of Corrections previously suspended CS on 27 November 2025 and initiated a formal investigation and ethics proceedings led by the Internal Compliance Directorate. Officials stated that sanctions will follow if violations are proven, according to antaranews.com

The accusation was first raised by the House of Representatives (DPR) Commission XIII legislator Mafirion, who stressed that discriminatory acts and religious defamation are punishable under the Criminal Code and violate the Human Rights Law.
