Inp.polri.go.id - Bogor Deputy Chief of the Indonesian National Police (INP) Commissioner General Dedi Prasetyo said SMA Kemala Taruna Bhayangkara high school in Gunung Sindur, Bogor Regency, is targeted to begin operations this year as construction progress exceeds expectations.
“Within five and a half months, construction has reached 43 percent, surpassing the 40 percent target,” he said during an on-site inspection on Monday (12/1/2026), as quoted by antaranews.com.
Chief Dedi explained that the school is expected to be ready for teaching and learning activities by July this year, welcoming its first and second student cohorts. The visit involved representatives from the Garuda Bangsa Foundation, philanthropic partners, West JavaRegional Police, and local police units.
In its initial phase, SMA Kemala Taruna Bhayangkara will admit 300 students selected through a nationwide, multi-stage process.
