Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Deputy Minister of Villages, Disadvantaged Regions, and Transmigration Paiman Raharjo launched the Metaverse Manunggal Jaya in Magelang regency, Central Java, on Tuesday (30/4/2024). 

He highlighted the metaverse as a technological breakthrough for showcasing village tourism globally, according to antaranews.com

Utilizing advanced tools like dimensional glasses, the metaverse concept enables exploration of vast spaces. 

Deputy Ministr Paiman underscored its dual benefits, both in enhancing tourism awareness and the technological innovation itself.

Metaverse Manunggal Jaya is a collaborative effort between the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, the Ministry of Villages, Disadvantaged Regions, and Transmitration, local administrations, and local universities.

The introduction of the metaverse is poised to aid the Manunggal Jaya Borobudur Village-Owned Enterprises in promoting the Manunggal Jaya National Priority Rural Area (KPPN), fostering local community welfare and economic growth.
