Inp.polri.go.id - Tokyo. A delegation from the Indonesian National Police  (INP) Division of Public Relations, led by Brigadier General Tjahyono Saputro, visited Japan's National Police Agency (NPA) to  learn the NPA's public relations strategies and explore future collaboration opportunities.

“We aim to learn how the NPA builds public trust and communicates effectively with the community,” said Senior Superintendent. Ahmad Musthofa Kamal, the INP Division of Public Relations Head of Partnerships, in his statement on Thursday (24/10/2024), 

A notable aspect was the NPA's exclusive use of x.com for public communication, with no presence on Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok. 

“This approach differs from our practices in Indonesia, and we want to understand the reasoning,” remarked Senior Superintendentl Ibrahim Tompo.

The NPA emphasized that trust is built through transparent communication and responsiveness to community needs. 

Following the meeting, the delegation visited the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, including the Japanese Police Museum and the Command Center.

Brigadier General Tjahyono expressed optimism for a productive partnership aimed at creating a safer, better-informed society.
