inp.polri.go.id - East Nusa Tenggara. The Head of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Regional Police Public Relations Senior Superintendent Hendry Novika Chandra was invited as the guest for TVRI Kupang Talk Show to discuss green economy potentials in the province.

The show also invites the Commander of 161 Wirasakti Kupang Regional Military Command, Brigadier General Joao Xavier Barreto Nunes to give his perspective on Indonesian National Military (TNI) roles in supporting food security in NTT.

In their session, Nunes said that the national strategic plan of President Prabowo Subianto for food security is planned for two to three years. In supporting this program, his unit has given their all to ensure that the program can be realized adaptively.

Meanwhile, Hendry conveyed that the Indonesian National Police (INP) has also taken proactive steps in supporting the national program. INP has recruited special units for the agricultural, fisheries, and nutrition sector. They will be tasked to accompany the public in boosting national food security. Moreover, INP also continues to list the productive lands and monitor the quality seeds and fertilizer distribution.

In further developing the program, his party also listed the necessary equipment for farming and collaborated with many parties, including TNI and local government.

Hendry adds that the main focus of this initiative are existing productive lands, as well as optimizing the use of home and office yards.

Communities and farmer groups are encouraged to apply for assistance with modern agricultural tools to increase production efficiency. An integrated monitoring system is also implemented to ensure that every stage of agriculture runs smoothly.

In his closing statement, Hendry appeals to the public to continue improve their competency in developing and managing the existing agricultural resources.
