Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The investigators of Special Economic Crimes Directorate will examine Panji Gumilang as the suspect of money laundering case on Thursday (11/9/2023). This marks the first examination of PG as suspect after his status determination. “He has been scheduled for Thursday (11/9/2023),” says Special Economic Crimes Director, Brigadier General Whisnu Hermawan quoted from Antara on Monday (11/6/2023). Previously, Whisnu says that his parties will examine Panji Gumilang in Indonesian National Police Criminal Investigation Unit. The summoning will be coordinated with Prosecutor’s Office, because now Panji Gumilang is the suspect of religious blasphemy case. “We will document it first, same goes for his summoning letter,” says the Director. It was reported that the determination of Panji Gumilang as suspect was announced at August 2nd, 2023. He has been determined as suspect of money laundering of Indonesian Islamic Boarding School foundation for his own gains. (ad/ay/pr/nm)
