Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung Wibowo has instructed all provincial agencies to revoke work-from-home (WFH) policies, declaring the capital safe and fully operational again. The order came after a week of partial WFH measures for civil servants following public demonstrations.
“I have already directed the relevant agency heads to end the WFH policy, effective immediately. Why? Because I see that daily activities are back to normal, and all public transportation is functioning smoothly,”Governor Pramono said during a press briefing at City Hall on Wednesday (3/9/2025), as reported by antaranews.com.
The governor also reminded civil servants to comply with Gubernatorial Instruction No. 6/2025, which requires the use of public transport every Wednesday. To support this, Jakarta is offering a symbolic fare of Rp 1 on TransJakarta buses and MRT services until 8 September 2025.
Previously, WFH was authorized under a circular issued on 28 August 2025 to ease disruptions caused by protests across the city. The measure excluded officials providing essential public services.
