Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The Jakarta Provincial Government continues to tackle the pollution by actively limiting the use of private vehicles and expanding the low emission area.
“In the future, there will be an age limit of vehicles and an expansion of the low emission area,” says Head of Jakarta Traffic Office Syafrin Liputo on Wednesday (5/8/2024).
Syafrin hopes that through the two measures, people could shift to public transportation.
Then, his party is trying to implement the Law Number 2 of 2024 about Special Region Jakarta (DKJ), where the regional government is given the authority to limit the ownership of vehicles.
“Our effort is implementing the law that has been applied, particularly by limiting the age and ownership of the private vehicles,” said Syafrin.
