"We urge travelers returning to arrive early at their departure stations, ensure their identity matches the information on their tickets, and take care of their belongings, as well as maintaining their health and physical condition," said Ganjar at Gambir Station, Central Jakarta, Wednesday afternoon.
He also urged travelers, especially those returning to Jakarta via Gambir Station, to comply with the instructions of station personnel and follow official information from KAI to ensure a comfortable and safe return flow.
To anticipate crowded queues for people arriving through Gambir Station, he stated that his office is ready to regulate the flow, increase staffing, adjust train operations, organize pick-up areas, and provide emergency preparedness for passengers experiencing fatigue or illness.
"We are also ready to make operational adjustments, actively provide information and announcements, organize pick-up areas, and provide emergency preparedness (health posts and medical personnel on standby in case of fatigue or illness)," said Ganjar.
For information, as of March 25, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. WIB, 4,342,343 tickets had been sold, or 96.5 percent of the total 4,498,696 seats available during the period from March 11 to April 1, 2026.
