Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Metro Jaya Regional Police have named six suspects in a fatal group assault in Kalibata, Pancoran, South Jakarta, that left two debt collectors dead on Thursday, authorities said on Friday (12/12/2025). 

“Investigators have named six suspects believed to be involved in the series of criminal acts,” the Indonesian National Police (INP) Public Relations Division Head of Public Information Bureau, Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, said at a press conference as quoted by antaranews.com.

He confirmed the suspects are active-duty police officers assigned to the Headquarters Service Unit (Yanma) of the Indonesian National Police. 

The six have been charged under the Criminal Code for collective violence resulting in death. The Police said the investigation is ongoing, with investigators examining witness accounts and the sequence of events leading to the deaths of the two victims.

INP leadership stressed that the case will be handled transparently, professionally, and without favoritism. Authorities are also continuing parallel criminal and internal disciplinary processes to ensure accountability.
