inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Minister of Social Affairs Saifullah Yusuf, often called Gus Ipul, stated that the People’s School curriculum will follow national formal standards. However, there will be a special addition, namely character education, in the People’s School curriculum.

"The curriculum is the same as other schools, with the addition of character education," he explained at the Inten Soeweno Integrated Center, Cibinong, Bogor Regency, West Java, on Monday (7/14/2025), as reported by RRI.

According to him, the government is not recruiting new foreign teachers for this character education. 

"All teachers are prepared directly by the Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag)," he said.

He also ensured that character education applies to all students without discrimination, "Both Muslims and those of other religions," he explained.

The government is opening the School Environment Introduction Period (MPLS) for People’s School for the 2025/2026 academic year simultaneously throughout Indonesia.

The activity is centered at Junior High School (SRMP) 10 located at the Inten Soeweno Integrated Center.
