Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Ministry of Communication and Information took action against online gambling by summoning representatives from social media platform X to Indonesia. Director General of Informatics Application Semuel Abrijani Pangerapan said that despite X's main office being in Singapore, theyarranged  their visit to Indonesia in response to the ministry's email request. The ministry has urged  X to develop specialized technology to detect online gambling promotions automatically, streamlining the process of removing such content without repeated manual notifications. "Typically, we issue a 'notice to take down' for such content, but it becomes cumbersome if it repeats. We've asked them to develop a system for automatic handling," Director General Semuel said.
