After that, chases and warning shots were carried out, but the perpetrators were still trying to escape and fought back, so decisive and measured action was taken in the legs. At 17.40 Eastern Indonesian Time, the joint task force took the two perpetrators to Nabire Regional public hospital for medical treatment. Then on Saturday, December 4, 2021, the two perpetrators were taken to Jayapura using the Wings Air ATR 62-600 PK-WGY aircraft, then taken to the Bhayangkara Hospital for further medical treatment.
