Inp.polri.go.id - Papua - The KOTEKA Programme (Communication with the Political Elites and Community Figures) of the Noken Community Development Unit (Binmas Noken) of the Merauke region keeps being campaigned. Not only towards the religious or traditional figures but also towards the woman figure, one of them is in Maro Subdistrict. The KOTEKA programme was conducted by the Binmas Noken personnel of Merauke on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, from 09.30 to 10.20 at a people's house of Maro subdistrict of Merauke regency, owned by Mrs Sintia Buinei. Police Sub-Inspector 2nd Class Sudoko and Police Chief Brigadier Lutfi Eko AP as the Binmas Noken personnel who conducted the KOTEKA programme delivered their purposes of the team's arrival, which is to meet and greet people of the Maro subdistrict so that they can maintain security together in Merauke regency. The arrival of the team was warmly welcomed by Mrs Sintia Buinei. During the meet and greet, the team also asked Mrs Sintia Buinei, as the woman figure of Maro subdistrict, to support Indonesian National Police activities and to maintain peaceful and cool security and order situation in Merauke regency, which is being the host of the 20th National Sports Week (PON XX) 2021. They also hoped that Mrs Sintia Buinei could encourage the community in the Maro subdistrict to get vaccinated to minimise Covid-19 effects. All advice, purposes, and objectives were replied by thank-you sayings by Mrs Sintia Buinei for a visit by Merauke Departmental Police, especially Binmas Noken, despite the busyness but still managed to visit her house and hoped to stay in a good relationship with the Indonesian National Police. "I will always support Police activities to maintain security and order in Merauke regency and smoothen the PON XX that is being held in Merauke", Mrs Sintia said. She also committed to support and encourage the community to get vaccinated, as per the government's advice.
