Inp.polri.go.id - Tanjung Selor. The North Kalimantan Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Daniel Adityajaya, along with Mulawarman Military Commander Major General Tri Budi Utomo, signed a cooperation agreement aimed at enhancing synergy and integration.
"The North Kalimantan Police and the Mulawarman Regional Military Command can mutually support each other in carrying out their duties, especially in securing the 2024 elections," Chief Daniel said on Monday (5/2/2024).
He said that the collaboration is a follow-up to the memorandum of understanding signed by the Indonesian National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, and the Indonesian Military Commander, General Agus Subiyanto.
"Considering the significant and strategic importance of the 2024 elections and regional elections for the continuity of national and regional leadership," Chief Daniel said.
The synergy between the Police and the Military in securing the 2024 elections and simultaneous regional elections, the Police Chief emphasized, plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth process of democracy.
"May this collaboration not only be a document but also capable of producing concrete actions that benefit the nation, the state, and the people of North Kalimantan in particular," he added.
