Vice Chief of North Kalimantan Regional Police, Police Brigadier General Kasmudi, stressed that the stages of 2024 General Election is on-going and expects all of his personnel to remain neutral in ensuring election security. “You have to be aware and understand that the dynamics here in Bulungan Sub-regional Police could be different from other sub-regional polices. If you are aware with that, then we have to prepare all of our aspects and elements, including our human resources, facilities, operational and fund system,” remarks Kasmudi during a rally in Bulungan Sub-regional Police HQ on Wednesday (12/6/2023). He stressed that the operational sector has to improve its personnel capabilities other than preparing facilities. Hadi further warned that police neutrality is at stakes during 2024 General Election. “We have to be professional and avoid anything that could trigger commotions in the community,” conclude the deputy chief of North Kalimantan Regional Police.
