Chief of Indonesia National Police (INP), Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo reveals that according to their discussion with Ministry of Transportation, there has been signs traffic increase ahead Christmas and New Year Eve holiday. “Where it was predicted by the ministry that there would be an increase in traffic around homecoming and return flow,” states the Police General to the reporters on Thursday (12/7/2023). According to Sigit, his party along with the military force and other related stakeholders will definitely carry out security operations ahead year-end holiday. He hopes government could give their best service to the people. “Due to how massive this operation and will involve a huge chunk of military and police force, along with related parties, we pray that the operation could provide the best service to the people,” pray Sigit. The Chief of Indonesia National Police adds that Christmas and New Year Eve Holiday security operation would be different from previous year as it coincides with 2024 General Election stages. Sigit conveys that he has ordered his police ranks to design the best operation blueprint to ensure all national agenda security operations would be ensured going smoothly. (ad/ay/pr/nm)
