The investigators of the General Criminal Investigation Directorate of Papua Regional Police are investigating the alleged usage of the Village Fund to be used for the operation of the West Papua National Committee (KNPB) after the arrest of Temianus Magayang. Temianus was arrested on Saturday, November 27, because of involvement in several bloody actions in the Yahukimo regency. "Temianus Magayang was the village head of Sesepne, Kelamdua district, Yahukimo regency", the Director of General Criminal Investigation of Papua Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Faizal Ramadhani, said in Jayapura on Monday (29/11/2021). He explained that Temianus is still hospitalised in Bhayangkara Hospital of Jayapura due to a shot wound. Therefore, he cannot be interrogated for statements. Director of General Criminal Investigation said that after doctors declare he's being healthy, there will be interrogation such as whether the village fund is being used for Armed Criminal Group (KKB) operations. Besides being a village head is also the Kodap 17 Kali Bele Operation Commander of KKB. Temianus Magayang was the KKB member of the Yahukimo group, together with the late Senat Soll and Erik Pahabol, under the Commander of Kodap 16, Elkius Kobak. There are four Police reports being subjected to Tendius, including his involvement in the killing of the Yahukimo Electoral Commission staff, Hendrik Jovinski, on August 11, 2020. (my/bq/hy)
