Para Badminton Team Wins Eight Medals for Indonesia

Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  The Indonesian para badminton team delivered a total of eight medals at the Paris 2024 Paralympics, including one gold, four silver, and three bronze.

The gold medal was won by the mixed doubles pair Hikmat Ramdani and Leani Ratri Oktila in the SL3-SU5 category, defeating fellow Indonesians Fredy Setiawan and Khalimatus Sadiyah, who took silver, on Monday (2/9/2024) according to antaranews.com.

The other silver medals were won by Qonitah Ikhtiar Syakuroh in the SL3 women's singles, Leani Ratri Oktila in the SL4 women's singles, and Suryo Nugroho in the SU5 men's singles.

Bronze medals went to the mixed doubles pair Subhan and Rina Marlina (SH6), Deva Anrimusthi in the SU5 men's singles, and Fredy Setiawan in the SL4 men's singles.

With these achievements, Indonesia has amassed a total of 12 medals across three sports at the Paris 2024 Paralympics. The remaining events, including para athletics, boccia, para swimming, para archery, and para weightlifting, will continue until 5 September 2024.
