Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Persib Bandung club officially signed Indonesian national team midfielder Thom Haye to strengthen the squad for the 2025/2026 season. 

The 30-year-old, born in Amsterdam on 9 February 1995, has agreed to a two-year contract and will immediately join preparations for the Super League and AFC Champions League 2.

“Welcome Thom Haye, we believe his quality and experience will be a crucial addition to PERSIB’s ambition,” said Adhitia Putra Herawan, the Deputy CEO of PT Persib Bandung Bermartabat, on Wednesday (27/8/2025).

Haye’s recruitment was recommended by head coach Bojan Hodak, who values his ability to control tempo and provide balance in midfield. The defensive midfielder previously played in the Dutch Eredivisie for clubs including AZ Alkmaar, Willem II, ADO Den Haag, NAC Breda, SC Heerenveen, and most recently Almere City (2024/25).

Before joining Indonesia’s national team, Haye represented the Netherlands from U-15 to U-21. Persib sees him as key to boosting domestic and Asian competition ambitions.
