Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Metro Jaya Regional Police ensures that the confiscation of evidence in the investigation of Aiman Witjaksono (AW) case is according to the Standard Operational Procedure. Head of Law Section of Metro Jaya Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Leonardus Simamarta says that the changing of email and Instagram password of Aiman was to ensure the evidence security. Leonardus aim to assure that the evidence is safe until the trial. “To ensure its security, investigators change the password so that its originality would remain intact until the trial,” explained Leonardus on Tuesday (2/20/2024). According to Leonardus, although the password of AW’s Instagram and email have been changed, he assures that those accounts are safe. Leonardus says that the evidence is also in status quo, so that the account owner could not access the account for the time being. “We want this evidence to be in status quo, which means nobody would change its originality,” conclude Leonardus.
