inp.polri.go.id - Palu. In an effort to create a safe and orderly traffic culture, the Traffic Directorate (Ditlantas) of the Central Sulawesi Regional Police continues to intensify public education. One concrete step has come from First Police Inspector Faizah Sangaji, who consistently emphasizes the importance of road safety through a humanistic and empathetic approach.
"We don't just want to enforce the rules, but also touch the hearts of the public. Because road safety isn't just about the law, but about protecting lives—both your own and those of others," Faizah stated sincerely while providing outreach in a congested area in Palu City.
According to her, many drivers are still not fully aware of the importance of obeying traffic signs, wearing standard helmets, and avoiding cell phone use while driving. Through persuasive and friendly education, she hopes the public will become more aware that traffic regulations are designed to protect, not simply to punish.
Faizah also added that community involvement is crucial. "We can't do it alone. Change starts with collective awareness. Encourage family, friends, and neighbors to be more concerned about road safety," he said.
At every opportunity, he always includes a simple yet meaningful message: "Departing with prayer, returning safely is everyone's right. Let's protect it together."
Through this approach, the Central Sulawesi Regional Police Traffic Directorate hopes that the number of traffic violations and accidents in Central Sulawesi can continue to decline, while simultaneously fostering a more civilized and responsible driving culture.
