inp.polri.go.id - Banjarbaru. The South Kalimantan Regional Police has exterminated 38,283.46 grams of methamphetamine from the Fredy Pratama network in the past three months, from January to March.

“There are also 1,015 ecstasy pills and 331 grams of ecstasy powder that we are destroying today,” says the Head of the South Kalimantan Regional Police, Inspector General Rosyanto Yudha Hermawan on Wednesday (3/19/2025).

In the span of three months, Hermawan says that there are four prominent drug cases, with four suspects, that they have disclosed.

"These four prominent cases are networks across Kalimantan, Surabaya and Sulawesi that are affiliated with international drug lord Fredy Pratama," explained the South Kalimantan Police Chief.

In his statement, he stated that with the evidence that failed to circulate to the public, the South Kalimantan Regional Police had succeeded in saving 193,297 people from its abuse.

"If this reaches the hands of users, the rehabilitation budget by the state and the community can go up more than IDR 900 billion," he explained.

He stated that the war on drug trafficking must not be slackened and his party continues to increase efforts to uncover it by strengthening existing resources.

"The modus operandi of the drug dealer network is increasingly sophisticated, members must be ready and the Police must not lose," he said.
