Inp.polri.go.id – Cirebon. Cirebon Sub-regional City Police Inafis Unit search and investigate the location where a woman was found in the cemetery of Jagapura Village, West Java. Until now, the police are still investigating the identity of the victim. “We from the police are still trying to find the identity of the victim,” said Gegesik Sectoral Police Chief, Police Assistant Inspector Suheryana on Friday (2/16/2024). In his statement, he said that the body was found naked and in a supine position. “The body was found naked, completely naked without any clothes. Then, it was also already swollen and smelled,” said the police chief. Moreover, regarding the wound on the body, the Inafis of Cirebon Sub-regional City Police are still investigating the victim’s body to determine the woman's injuries and cause of death. “We still cannot rule out that this is a rape case as we are still investigating the case,” adds the police chief. For further investigation, police evacuate the woman’s body to Arjawinangun Hospital for autopsy. (ad/fa/pr/nm)
