inp.polri.go.id - Tanggamus. After the 4.5 magnitude earthquake that rocked Tanggamus Regency last Friday, the Tanggamus Sub-regional Police immediately went to the affected location on Saturday (27/9/25).

Led by the Head of Operations, Police Assistant Superintendent Yoffie Kurniawan, together with personnel and the community worked together to clean up the debris of houses in Pekon Sidodadi, Semaka District.

Head of Public Relations of the Tanggamus Sub-regional Police, Police Senior Inspector M. Yusuf said that the police would always be present among the community when a disaster occurs.

"We also work together to clean up the houses affected by the earthquake with the community," said  Yusuf.

He hopes that the mutual cooperation that also involves elements of the government, the TNI and the community can help ease the burden on residents.

"Hopefully this cooperation can help the affected denizens," he said.

The Head of Public Relations explained that based on data collection, there were no fatalities in the incident. However, 11 houses were reported to have been damaged, with details of three houses being heavily damaged, seven moderately damaged, and three lightly damaged.
