Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Metro Jaya Regional Police will involve several experts in the process of investigating the alleged sexual harassment case at the Miss Universe Indonesia pageant. Director of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Metro Jaya Regional Police, Police Senior Superintendent Hengki Haryadi explained that one of the experts who will be involved in the process of handling the report is from digital forensics. "We will involve several experts related to this crime, including digital forensics," he explained, quoted from PMJNews, Saturday (12/8/23). The involvement of digital forensic experts makes it possible to explore some pieces of evidence included by the complainant, such as photos taken by the person who is claimed to have also been obtained by the complainant. This also includes statements from investigators who will involve CCTV experts to check the location of the incident which is in the ballroom of a hotel in Central Jakarta. "The results of checking the crime scene also turned out that there was CCTV there, even though CCTV according to information from the committee or the reporter that CCTV was off, we will check it," he explained further.
