Inp.polri.go.id - Tegal.  The Tegal  Sub-regional Police investigators have examined 11 witnesses in connection with the fire at a karaoke establishment on Veteran Street in Tegal, Central Java that claimed the lives of six karaoke hostesses. Senior Inspector Darwan, the Head of Criminal Investigation  Unit at Tegal Police, said that the witnesses include survivors and families of those who lost their lives in the tragic incident on Monday. The investigators have planned to question the owner or manager of the karaoke venue, he said on Tuesday (16/1/2024) "We are awaiting the results from the forensic laboratory of the Central Java regional police, as the findings have not been released yet," he explained, as quoted from antaranews.com.
